The NBIC program handbook covers general conduct and attitude, work assignments, phone and communication privileges, earned leave and passes, personal property and finances, and dismissal policy. Men are expected to submit to the program, perform their weekly job assignment, and follow all rules. One 15-minute phone call is allowed on Saturdays from 8am-12pm for the first 3.5 months. No cell phones for the first 3.5 months of the program.
